BECOME A MEMBER
Building on the long-term support and success of ACT II, the membership has, after a brief “intermission,” become ACT III. The ladies of Act II and their gentlemen associates are excited to continue and expand their enthusiastic contributions to PVPA. The curtain rises on Act III!
ACT II was founded in 1984 as a support organization for the Norris Theatre, now known as Palos Verdes Performing Arts. Act II’s primary purpose was to raise funds for the Theatre. Since its inception, the women of Act II had raised over $600,000 through their annual Variety Show, Fashion Show luncheons, and more recently, Shop Till You Drop benefits.
Now, in the next “stage” of their lives, the members of ACT III welcome the chance to continue the camaraderie and community involvement in the performing arts by supporting PVPA and meeting bi-monthly to enjoy lunch and entertainment. BRAVO! s a gregarious group of theatre enthusiasts who meet twice a month at various venues. BRAVO membership donations of $550 per member ($1,100 per couple) contribute in support of the many activities Palos Verdes Performing Arts. New members are always welcome. The Cabaret Jazz Fanatics is a support group for Palos Verdes Performing Arts for Jazz lovers. Cabaret Jazz Fanatics enjoy certain benefits, including free beverages, CDs, an entry into the end of the season raffle, and, at the Season Sponsor level, complimentary season subscriptions. In addition, each year Palos Verdes Performing Arts hosts a small, intimate jazz dinner party for Season Sponsors, featuring artists who have appeared at the Cabaret. The Encore Circle is the premier support group of Palos Verdes Performing Arts. Its members share a deep love of, and financial commitment to, the performing arts.
