Performing arts are an essential part of the culture and community of the South Bay. From dance and music to theatre and the visual arts, the arts give our community a unique means of expression, capturing passions and emotions, and allowing us to explore new ideas, subject matter, and cultures. They bring us joy in every aspect of our lives.
A special person wrote this at the Opening of the Norris Theatre:
"The opening of the Norris Theatre is not only a tribute to the importance of the arts, but also a reflection of the American tradition of a community meeting its own needs. This splendid Community Theatre stands as a permanent reminder that the quality of life is enhanced by the arts." – Ronald Reagan 1983.
Thank you to the many wonderful community members who continue to donate and partner with us to keep the arts alive in our community.
We are not out of the woods yet though. As we continue to weather the storm of pandemics/health restrictions, PVPA continues to need your financial support to allow us to remain financially healthy for our community in the future. There is still plenty of room for you to be permanently recognized (perhaps again) for generations to come, and/or recognized in our 2022 – 2023 Theatre Season PVPA Programs as a theatre "Friend".
